~ Some massage therapists just pet you. It feels nice but no changes happen in the body.
Many massage therapists are trained to be a scavenger for knots; once found, the knots are destroyed. More pressure equals more destruction, and often increased pain. This interaction leaves my muscles tensing up to protect from the aggressive invasion it experiences. I hold my breathe to survive the momentary battle between my muscles and the therapist, trying to breathe but often unsuccessfully. If she wins, the knot disintegrates,
if I win, she either gets more aggressive or moves on.
Luis is different. He holds a dialogue with my muscles and nervous system. He presses, and waits for feedback. He stops just before my muscles tense up and lock him out. He waits, gently and patiently, for my body to let him in, hold the tension, and safely escort it out of my body. He creates an ongoing communicative flow between his hands, my muscles, and my nervous system, constantly listening, and only moving forward once partnership is reinstated. He ends up accomplishing more because he's working with my body instead of against it.

     ~The Muscle Whisperer (MW)_I will call here_ prevented me from progressing to a cane, walker or some other mobile assistance. I got in a car accident months ago and already have chronic back issues. My body is very stiff, muscles inflamed, and displaced ribs. My shoulder blade maintained a shooting pain, hips on fire, etc...until my first appointment with MW. I felt like a new person after 2 treatments with MW. You will appreciate the extreme care, patience and flexibility offered there. Time was no issue.     ~ My Husband and I travel alot and being in Denver I had 3 massages while there, two of those at Spas. I never get what I pay for, never! Then I called Luis. He came to to my hotel room and I have to say he is the best male Therapist I have encountered in my travels. As far as price, WOW! Try to find a massage this good for this price. He was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. I am also a licensed massage Therapist. I own two practices and am also an instructor where I teach massage Therapy.     ~ Talk about the hidden gem you wish you found years ago! Luis' expertise as a 2nd generation massage therapist takes his work to a level beyond most. When someone begins learning how to help heal the body and free blocked energy as a child, you can imagine when they're all grown up what impact that has on their intuitive abilities. This is Luis. I did the 8- session pack to unlock the body, which you schedule 2-3 days max apart from each other. It's a commitment, and the BEST investment I've ever made for myself. The freedom I feel in my body is something I always knew I could feel, but hadn't found the right help until now. (And I've worked with massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists...the list goes on.) I did have two chiropractor sessions during this 8-session stint with Luis which I can only imagine was an ideal supplement. I recommend him to everyone I can!

    ~ If anyone needs a massage near Denver, PLEASE let this wizard work on your back(or entire body) he does absolutely incredible things and you will not regret one second of your decision. I stayed for a 2 hour session and was absolutely life changing. He helped me through emotional blockages talking, while massaging the tension out at the same time. Absolutely breathtaking experience. I recommend getting the 2 hour session as it allows him more time to follow grasp the clients needs at hand, and work them out at the appropriate pace.
Ambience is out of this world, felt like I was in my own home( not to mention the breath taking view of Denver and the mountains out of the window)
Using essential oils and incense to stimulate the mood, all around it was a peak life experience for myself.
Will be going back next week for another 2 hour session :)
